Connaught Village welcomes The Cuddle Club

On Sunday 8th December, Connaught Village is bringing even more joy to the festive season with ‘The Cuddle Club’, offering guests an instant mood boost by bringing in their ‘Dog Squad’ to spend time with for the afternoon.

For the dog lovers that aren’t able to keep their own dog, the event is brought to you by The Cuddle Club. Lucky visitors will be able to pre-book their session to spend some time with a range of dogs, big and small, at 3 Porchester Place in the heart of Connaught Village between 11am – 3.30pm.

Whilst in the area, make sure to browse in the collection of excellent retail stores on offer, perfect for Christmas shopping. Connaught Village is the Hyde Park Estate’s premium retail quarter, one of London’s best spots for restaurants, bars, pubs, premium art galleries and exhibitions. It is also one of the most dog friendly London villages, unusually there are no restrictions on tenants who wish to keep pets. The shops and cafes also happy to host man’s best friend.

The Cuddle Club was created by Aneka Johnson, also co-founder of London Dog Week, who was inspired after seeing the wellbeing benefits of caring for a pet when suffering ill health, the purpose was to promote the healing effects that dogs have on humans which led to the launch of The Cuddle Club. Since then, The Cuddle Club has been popping up at locations all across London, with people in the workplace benefiting from the therapeutic effects of spending time with dogs.
