This October, Art Month returns to Connaught Village in a celebration of art, culture and creativity.
Acme artists have been invited to take over a shop unit for a dynamic pop-up gallery, alongside exhibitions in galleries Dorothy Circus, CasildArt, RNat5A and Matt Carey-Williams, which alongside auction house Lyon & Turnbull make Connaught Village a year-round arty destination.
Connaught Village Art Month 2025 programme includes:
Takeover exhibition by Acme Studios artists Eleanor McLean, Ellie Pearch and Jacob Talkowski. Inspired by John Koenig’s The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows, where “anemoia” is defined as the feeling of nostalgia for a time never personally experienced, this exhibition presents sculpture and installation that connects the tactile with the virtual and the poetic. 14th – 23rd October at 21 Connaught Street, W2 2AY.
Artist Talk:
The artists will host a talk about their work in the exhibition space at 21 Connaught Street on Wednesday 15th October at 6pm. Free. Please RSVP via Eventbrite.
Mosaic Evening:
Friday 24th October 3.30 – 6.30pm. A Workshop with Eleanor McLean at Kendal Street Kitchen, 17-20 Kendal Street, W2 2AW. Participants will create their own mosaic artwork, inspired by the themes of the exhibition. For more information, and to book £5 tickets, please visit Eventbrite.

French street artist Flog makes his London debut, taking his raw, poetic works from public spaces into the gallery for the first time. 9th – 30th October.
Chris Huen Sin-kan’s jewel-like works on paper weave between memory and invention. Meanwhile, Isabella Amram, Gena Milanesi and Daniel Roibal, three recently graduated painters from the Royal College of Art, explore the multivalence of abstraction. On view until 10th November.

A month of specialist auctions offering a distinct glimpse into the world of fine art, design and collectibles. MODERN MADE closes the month with viewings and sessions hosted at the Mall Galleries, London. 14th – 31st October.
Ten Black male artists reclaim visibility and identity in a defiant, and yet intimate, exhibition curated by Sukai Eccleston. Presented in partnership with White & Case LLP. 17th October – 6th November.
In their new studio gallery exhibition, Rob and Nick Carter explore neon as both a material and conceptual medium, drawing inspiration from the likes of Warhol, Albers and the art of optical illusion. 17th October – 9th January 2026.
