Connaught Village has unveiled the full programme for Village in Green – returning from 4 July – 31 August with its biggest summer season yet.

To celebrate this, Connaught Village is hosting the public opening of Cambridge Square for a one-day garden party on 4 July inviting visitors to enjoy a relaxed afternoon of live music, family-friendly activities, pop-up treats, and the chance to meet Paddington™, as he makes special appearances throughout the event.

At the heart of the summer-long programme is Bonsai Treehouses, a major new pop-up exhibition by the Museum of Architecture, transforming Oxford Square into a showcase of miniature designs by leading architects nestled among living bonsai, all exploring the theme Together. Visitors can also join hands-on workshops and follow a bonsai-inspired trail through the Village. Across the summer, the wider programme will include in-store events, creative experiences and seasonal menus, with Connaught Village’s independent boutiques, cafés and restaurants each offering their own take on summer in the city, including:

• Sowvital, 11 Porchester Place – Complimentary hand cream with any Bonsai Treehouses ticket purchase – simply present your ticket at the till (no minimum spend required).

Event programme, 4^th July:

• A garden party takes over Cambridge Square from 12pm-4pm – live music, free ice cream and family friendly entertainment. Paddington™ will be making special personal appearances at intervals throughout the afternoon, with opportunities to take photos.
• Live performances from Kara Strings – the violin and cello duo will perform a set of popular covers live in Cambridge Square.
• Bonsai art workshop with Shelley The Artist – free drop-in sessions inviting children to create their own bonsai-inspired artworks in Cambridge Square.
• From 2pm-4pm, head to 31 Connaught Street to create your own natural perfume with Yougi – drop in for a guided perfume experience, crafting your own natural fragrance to take home.
