Red hat? Check! Blue duffle coat? Check! Emergency marmalade sandwich? Triple check! Everyone’s favourite bear has taken a seat in Connaught Village this week as part of Paddington Visits.
Launched by STUDIOCANAL in celebration of the newest film, Paddington in Peru, a trail of Paddington Bear statues has popped up across the UK and Ireland. Connaught Village is one of 23 locations taking part in the trail, which sees the special statues appearing in cities, towns and beautiful spots all over.
We’re buzzed with excitement for our newest mascot to arrive in the village – the meticulously crafted and painted statue sporting the wise bear’s signature red hat, blue duffle coat, and, naturally, a marmalade sandwich in paw.
Welcome to the village of Paddington! Paddington has taken a seat on a bench outside 28 Connaught Street, so be sure to visit and snap a picture with your newest neighbour!
Families and children can embark on an adventure to find their local Paddington with several locations all across the country.
