Learn how to make a living masterpiece at the Bonsai Treehouses Exhibition and Workshops with the Museum of Architecture

Looking for a creative summer activity in the heart of London? Alongside the Bonsai Treehouses exhibition in Oxford Square, the Museum of Architecture is offering a series of hands-on workshops inspired by the miniature worlds on display. Families can create planted treehouse gardens, older children and adults can build their own miniature landscape around a living bonsai tree and bonsai enthusiasts can join a special masterclass with Peter Warren, one of the UK’s leading bonsai specialists.

Whether you are planning a family day out, looking for an imaginative children’s activity or hoping to learn more about bonsai care and design, the workshops offer a chance to make, plant and take home your own living creation.

Also running throughout the summer is the Museum of Architecture’s Nature’s Architects Summer Camp – a six-week creative programme for children aged 5–12. Hosted in Oxford Square, the camp combines design thinking, hands-on making and outdoor exploration, encouraging young minds to learn, create and discover.
